Favorite Memories from My Time at BHE
Some of my favorite memories from my time here at BHE are the nights of show prep before IHSA competitions—jamming out to music while we set up, decorated, and schooled our horses together, often eating pizza while we worked. Those moments made the experience even more special.
Highlights from My IHSA Experience
Being a western rider on Black Hawk’s IHSA team has been an incredible experience that I will cherish forever. During my freshman year, I earned
High-Point Rookie award at a regular-season meet
As a sophomore, I
qualified for Regionals, where I finished 4th
This team has given me skills, experiences, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Next Up
After Black Hawk, I plan to continue training my filly that I started in colt class and begin showing her in ranch events. I will also be working toward completing my PATH certification for therapeutic riding instruction in the near future.
